Copyright Policy
Poppin respects creators’ rights and answers notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Last updated October 11, 2026.
If a listing uses your work
The fastest way is the “Report this listing” link on the listing’s page: choose “It uses my copyrighted work” and the form asks for everything below. You can also send a written notice to our copyright agent. A notice must include:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- the copyrighted work you say is infringed (or, for several works, a representative list);
- the material on Poppin you say infringes it, with enough detail to find it, such as the listing’s web address;
- your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
We remove or disable the material promptly, tell the host who posted it, and send the host a copy of the notice. Sending a notice that knowingly misstates that material infringes can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

If your listing was removed
If you posted the material and believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, send our agent a counter-notice that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification;
- your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the United States, any district in which Poppin may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice or their agent.
We send the counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action to keep the material down, we restore it within 10 to 14 business days of receiving the counter-notice.
Imported listings
Imported listings link to their source and show images from the source rather than copies. If you are the source and want a listing removed for any reason, not only copyright, email hello@findwhatspoppin.com and we remove it within 24 hours.
Repeat infringers
We close the host access, and where appropriate the account, of anyone who repeatedly posts infringing material.
